Crossing
the Atlantic
Bermuda - Azores 2006
June 4 - June 24,
2006 |
Here I am at Home in Gulf Harbour, before my
worldly travels...
Below are some pictures from 2006 Crossing of the Atlantic Ocean...

Leaving Bermuda - We regretted
leaving Bermuda as it is always so beautiful and peaceful.
However, the sea called and it was time to move on.
The first few nights were eventful, in particular one in
which we experienced lightning like we haven't seen since
leaving home (in Fort Myers - the "Lightning Capitol of the
World"). Bob came below and Tania said a few prayers
which were fortunately answered and I went untouched.
The sunrises and sunsets were amazing and it was great fun
on the crossing.

Crossing the Atlantic in 2006 - Here are
Bob and Tania at the helm (Tania was not particular about
putting on her SPF sun block sometimes as you can see) as
well as some great cloud formations...

-
Daily Life on board as we crossed the
Atlantic...many spectacular sunrises and sunsets...
Large Pod of Spotted Atlantic Dolphins
about to attack ...
- After the "attack" on Saretta's Dream -
- - someone decided there was
better "fishing" for breakfast elsewhere...How many Dolphins
can you spot that are leaving? This group all decided
to leap at the same time...beautiful!
